About the Role
We offer a Postdoctoral Research position in our Biologic Analytical Development department in Basel, supporting an innovative project in the context of ultra-highly concentrated novel formulations for monoclonal antibodies.
Preferred start date: July 2025

Key responsibilities
- Analytical support for development of highly concentrated novel formulations and devices
- Development and execution of analytical methods for assessment of visible and sub-visible particles in suspension formulations
- Development of an extraction method for analytical quality control of suspension formulations
- Advanced analytical characterization of particles in the suspension formulations
- Development of an analytical control strategy for highly concentrated novel formulations
Essential requirements:
- Education: PhD in a related field (e.g. biochemistry, biology, chemistry, biotechnology, etc.) with general experience and knowledge in biologic / protein products, ideally experiences on particle analytics
- Languages: Good knowledge of English (oral and written)
- Experience/Professional requirements:
- Good knowledge of laboratory and/or technical tools for analysis of proteins and particles
- Interest in problem-solving and optimization strategies
- Teamwork and willingness to collaborate

- Highly motivated, well-organized and pro-active
- Ability and desire to learn and adapt quickly
- Independent working style, creativity and strong communication skills
